I'd like to extend a huge thank you to Camp Bow Wow for hosting an afternoon of readings out of their Portland facility. I met 15 incredible dogs and their owners tonight and had a fantastic time. It's been interesting to see the evolution of the readings that I've been doing. At first, working on the dogs was purely for Reiki. Then they started chatting about the food they like, what kind of collar or harness they'd prefer, and now they're offering spiritual advice to their owners.
What do I mean by that? Some of the dogs I met explained why they picked their owners, or why they picked each other. Some are there to give them strength, or to teach them unconditional love. Often they mirror what the owner is going through and when they find me I give them a voice to communicate this to the owner. There were deeply profound messages and many too personal to post here. It's been a remarkable night!
I'm grateful for all of the wonderful people I'm meeting on this fascinating journey!
