Autumn Walk

Today I went for a walk in the woods behind the White Mountain Hypnosis Center in Madison, NH.  At the entrance to the woods there's a labryinth, which is a circular pathway marked with stones that you can walk through.  On my first few steps, I was asking for strength and contentment.  About halfway through, I felt almost the feeling of a rebirth.  As I followed the spiraling pine needle and acorn covered path, my mind finally felt clear and I felt more connected to the earth and to myself. I envisioned myself stepping through a white light and being stripped of my worries and my fears.  I saw an image of two hands pointing upward, then coming together with the fingertips making a heart shape.

I continued less than a mile to a clearing and sat on the bench overlooking the white mountains.  The colors were vibrant and the breeze was clear and chilly.  I spent about 20 minutes at the top, feeling myself recharge and the stressors of my world slowly peeling away.  On my walk down, I was excited to begin a new chapter and invited change to happen.  It is already in the works, and I am now even  more focused on this vision that has been unfolding in front of me.
